1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your account and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. Project administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate roles and removing access when it is no longer required.
3. The service
Occupancy Readiness Tracker helps teams organize occupancy documents, phases, commissioning records, assignments and reports. Features may be improved, added or removed as the service develops.
4. Professional review is required
The service is a project coordination tool. It does not provide legal, engineering, architectural, fire-safety, building-code or other professional advice, and it does not guarantee an occupancy permit or approval. Users remain responsible for confirming requirements with the applicable authority, consultants and qualified professionals. Occupancy Readiness Tracker is not affiliated with the City of Toronto or any government authority.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for having the rights and authority to upload content and invite project members.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, interfere with security, misuse another person's information, scrape the service, or circumvent access controls. You may not use the contact form for spam, harassment or deceptive activity.
7. Free access and future plans
The service is currently offered without a subscription fee during early access. We may introduce paid plans or change feature availability in the future. We will provide appropriate notice and will not charge you unless you separately accept a paid arrangement.
8. Third-party services
The service relies on third-party hosting, authentication, analytics and infrastructure. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies.
9. Availability and termination
We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may suspend or terminate access to protect users, comply with law, respond to misuse or discontinue the service. You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Occupancy Readiness Tracker will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, delayed approvals or decisions made from tracker information.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Subject to applicable law, disputes will be brought before the courts located in Ontario.
